Nude (Andre Gomes)

Simplicity is the key to this almost abstract nude pose.

Sunset or sunrise? ( Andre Gomes)

Astronomically speaking, that is no heavenly bodies that rise and set.  It's only "rotations" and "orbits". But we still love the effect don't we?

Beach, simply (Andre Gomes)

Water! 70% of this precious liquid compose our planet and our bodies. The blue planet, as we called it, can be destroyed by the increasing CO2 we send into the atmosphere every day. As we know, water is mostly Hydrogen, but it possess an isotope called, "deuterium," which can save our planet in our quest for renewable energy. I trust science and common sense. Green peace on the blue planet!

Incoming wave ( Andre Gomes)

One of my latest paintings. I really love the sea and I spent a great deal of time observing its motion and listening to its sound. The sense of continuity along with its scent makes me calm and introspective. I revere the sea.

Seated nude by Amadeo Modigliani ( Italian 1884-1920)

Here is another artist that I always admired. I strongly believe that Modigliani was able to capture those fleeing moments of abandonment due to his exclusive use of live models. The exotic way he used colors is another factor on his talent. I hope he conquered his demons because his lifestyle was so exotic and extreme that consequentially subtracted him from the book of living very early. Peace Modi.
